Maintaining marble in your bathroom - Tips and Tricks

Quality of the Furnified marble

Marble is a natural stone, which means that the pattern in each finished product will be different depending on the marble used. The marble we use can be more or less veined. Because of our choice to consciously deal with the types of marble we use, we ensure as little overproduction as possible without compromising on quality.

At Furnified we allow imperfections in the material. We have high quality requirements, so of course we don't mean cracks or breaks, but we mean imperfections that occurred during the natural formation process of the stone. We believe this is the power of natural materials such as marble.

Maintenance of Marble

Marble is a porous stone and therefore sensitive to fats, acids and temperature. As a result, the stone easily absorbs liquids and here it serves
to protect you against it.

All our marble products are already polished and treated against grease and stain with an anti-grease layer. This makes it more difficult for fats and liquids to penetrate the natural stone.

The protective layer fades through use and therefore you have to
refinish marble. For optimal protection, we recommend repeating this treatment twice a year.

Recommended treatment process
To apply the protection yourself, you can opt for the marble te
treat with marble protector. This treatment protects against stain
and dirt and retains the color of the marble.
You can buy marble protector in any DIY store.

Application of the protective layer

1. Clean the stone with water
2. Let the marble dry
3. Place the release liner on all your toiletries or towels as directed on the package
