Mortex vs concrete cire

Fan of the trendy concrete look? This is created with mortex or with concrete cire. Mortex is a mineral micro-mortar, based on cement and lime. The look and feel are almost the same, the price and processing make the big difference. Mortex is too difficult for the do-it-yourselfer to apply: the product dries quickly, resulting in many shades. You can process Beton Cire much longer and therefore give it a much calmer look. Beton Cire uses a sealer that you hardly see with a very natural matte appearance. The price of Mortex is also slightly higher than that of Beton Cire. The cost difference is mainly due to the fact that Mortex is more flexible, does not need a finishing layer and has an unprecedented hardness.
